Kwik Evening Star is the perfect foundation paper pieced pattern for making your fabric the stare of the show. It's the whole reason we buy and hoard fabric in the first place, right? You can use your precious 5in charms or 3-1/2in treats (25 squares) for a mini/pillow. Use a layer cake for the quilt. If you don't have those on hand there is nothing wrong with cutting from your stash or even fussy cutting the perfect little scene from your favorite fabrics. Mini/Pillow finishes at 22in x 22in and quilt finishes at 76in x 88in.
